When to trek to Annapurna Base Camp?
Many people like to trek in February, March, November, and December. It is possible to make the journey to Annapurna Base Camp in January. However, the region can be a little cold higher up, 10C/ 14F to – 15C/ 5F. Remember, it can dump snow on the trail at any time of year. But the most favorable time to do a trek is in Spring and Autumn.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, followed by a scenic hike to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. From there, the trail ascends through forested paths and terraced fields to reach Chhomrong, a key gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. The journey continues with a descent to Chhomrong Khola and then climbs steadily to Dovan, surrounded by bamboo and rhododendron forests.
